Atlassian
We implement, migrate and support Atlassian environments, and we build them so that you can still optimise them in three years.
Tell us what you are running today and what is not working. You get a view of the current environment, the risks in it, and what we would do about them.

The Client’s Situation
Choosing Atlassian was the easy part
If you are reading this, the platform decision is probably already made. The harder question is who implements it, because two organisations can buy exactly the same Atlassian licences and end up with very different things.
Most Atlassian environments that go wrong were not built badly. They were built exactly as requested. Every team got the fields, workflows and screens it asked for. Three years later nothing can be changed without breaking something else, nobody remembers why half of it was configured that way, and the organisation cannot administer its own platform without calling whoever built it.
The organisations that come to us are usually at one of three points. They are standing up Atlassian for the first time and want it built properly rather than built fast. Their existing environment no longer supports the way their teams actually work. Or they are facing a cloud migration — because Data Center end of life is approaching, or because an earlier attempt stalled under another vendor.

What a good implementation leaves behind
The difference between implementers shows up two or three years after go-live, which is an awkward thing to evaluate in advance. These are the things worth asking any supplier about.
An environment you can still change
We recommend proven configuration first and customise only where there is a real business need, because every shortcut taken at build time is a constraint you inherit later.
No dependency on us
Documentation and role-based training are delivered with the implementation, so your administrators handle standard changes themselves. We would rather be called for the difficult work than for adding a user.
Advice with nothing riding on it
We do not sell licences and we have no vendor targets to hit, so what we recommend is what we think you need rather than what pays us more.
The awkward requirements handled properly
Governance and security standards, ITIL-based practice, traceability from requirement through to release, identity providers, code platforms and CI/CD. These are the parts that turn a routine implementation into a difficult one.
Someone still there when it matters
Most of our implementations become long-term support arrangements, which means the people who designed your environment are the people who have to live with it.
What we implement
Atlassian supports software, service, product, business and leadership teams, and most implementations end up covering more of the organisation than the first conversation assumed.
1
Planning and delivery
Project, programme and portfolio planning, product discovery and roadmapping, software development lifecycle implementation, workflow automation and integration with the systems your delivery already depends on.
2
Service management
IT and enterprise service management covering incident, service request, change, problem and knowledge management, together with asset and configuration management.
3
Collaboration, knowledge and visibility
Collaborative work management, documentation and knowledge sharing, reporting and dashboards for stakeholders, and AI-assisted search across the work and the knowledge around it.
4
Cloud migration and modernisation
Moving from Server or Data Center to Atlassian Cloud, including consolidating several separate environments into one. With Data Center end of life announced, this is the most time-sensitive work on this page.
5
Process design and optimisation
Reworking how a process runs before it gets configured, which is usually where the value is.
Turn your data into a competitive advantage.
Whether you’re trying to prove marketing performance, modernise enterprise reporting, or build a stronger data strategy, we’ll help you create analytics that deliver measurable business value.
Training is delivered as a service in its own right. See the Training page.
Best practice first, customisation only where you need it

Assessment and analysis
An initial assessment, discovery phase or proof of concept to understand your goals, your current environment and the real constraints. We ask a lot of questions here, and we will sometimes challenge how a process works today rather than simply recording it.
Workshops with the teams who do the work
Mapping processes, clarifying requirements and agreeing priorities with the people affected, not only with the people sponsoring the project.
We show you the Atlassian way before we customise
We demonstrate proven best-practice approaches first, usually through a working demo, and adapt only where there is a genuine business need. A demo is deliberately not configured to look exactly like your process, because if it were there would be nothing left to implement.
Documentation and role-based training
Delivered alongside implementation rather than after it, so the environment is usable and maintainable on the day it goes live.
Support that works as an extension of your team
Your administrators handle day-to-day users and simple configuration. We take the complex changes that affect several projects or the wider organisation.
Our projects are phase-based, and most of them end in a long-term support arrangement rather than a handover and goodbye.

Why organisations bring us in
Start with what you are running now
Whether you are consolidating tools, replacing an email-based service desk, moving off Data Center before it reaches end of life, or trying to rescue an environment that has been configured into a corner, the first step is the same. We look at what you have, and tell you honestly what we would do with it.

Can our current data and configuration be migrated to Cloud?
In almost all cases, yes, though how cleanly depends on the state of what you are migrating from. Large migrations begin with a separate analysis phase that reviews the environment, the scope, the risks and the requirements before anyone commits to a plan. That phase exists precisely so the answer to this question is based on your environment rather than on a general assurance.
How long does an implementation or migration take?
Anywhere from about a month to six months or more, depending on scope and how many consultants are on it. Smaller, well-defined work can go straight to implementation. Larger migrations start with the analysis phase and a costed proposal. Where you have a fixed date driving it, a licence expiry or another project starting, we plan backwards from that.
Can Atlassian integrate with our existing systems, identity provider and development platforms?
Yes. Identity providers, code platforms such as GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket, ERP and internal applications are all common integrations, and connecting delivery work to the CI/CD pipeline is one of the more frequent requests. Which integrations are worth building is part of what the assessment establishes.
Will we be able to manage and extend the solution ourselves afterwards?
That is the intention, and it is why we recommend best-practice configuration before customisation. A heavily customised environment is one you will always need us for. Documentation and role-based training are delivered as part of implementation, and most clients handle users and simple configuration themselves while we take the changes that affect multiple projects or the wider organisation.
Do you sell Atlassian licences?
No. We are not a reseller and we do not sell licences, so you buy them directly from Atlassian or through a licence reseller. What that means in practice is that our advice on what you actually need is not shaped by what we would earn from selling it to you.
What does it cost?
It depends on scope and on how many consultants the work needs. We would rather scope it properly and price against a defined proposal, covering the solution, the scope, the deliverables, the timeline and what we need from your side, than quote a rate against an unknown.
Do you provide training and documentation?
Yes, both, as part of implementation rather than as an afterthought. Training is also available on its own, tailored by role and delivered in your own configuration. See the Training page.
