Tokenisation

We build the infrastructure that connects tokenised funds to the distributors, investors and third parties who need to reach them.

Tell us where you sit in the chain and what you are trying to connect to. We will tell you what it would take, and whether it is worth doing yet.

The Client’s Situation

Settlement still takes days

Asset managers and fund distributors are running on infrastructure built for a slower, traditional financial system. Settlement takes days. Reconciliation is manual. Trading stops when the banking day does, so investors are locked out between market opens, and reporting is often out of date by the time it lands.

Tokenisation offers a way out of that, but it does not arrive cleanly. The regulatory framework for digital assets exists largely in theory, and embedding it into a traditional finance stack means working through a long chain of dependencies before anything can go live.

What that calls for is not a blockchain specialist or a capital markets specialist. It is someone who understands both well enough to connect them safely.

What connected infrastructure makes possible

Talk to us

Tokens that can actually be traded

Issuing a token achieves little without a route to the distributors and investors who might hold it.

Trading that is not bounded by the banking day

Orders and holdings can be managed outside the hours the traditional settlement chain keeps.

Positions visible as they change

Holdings and positions are managed in the platform rather than established afterwards through reconciliation.

Compliance considered before the build, not after it

The regulatory gaps get researched in the first phase, so the constraints shape the design rather than arriving as a late surprise.

What we build depends on where you sit

Koios29 0926

1

Before you commit

Tokenisation strategy and feasibility assessment, and regulatory and competitor research for digital assets.

Koios21 0926

2

For fund managers

Connectivity infrastructure for tokenised assets, linking those assets to distributors, investors and third parties. To be clear about the boundary: we build the infrastructure that connects tokenised assets. We do not tokenise the assets themselves.

3

For distributors and wealth managers

Operational account and trading services, covering consumer, account and wallet administration, order placement and trading, position and holdings management, and platform integration.

4

For third parties

KYC token interoperability across the ecosystem.

Turn your data into a competitive advantage.

Whether you’re trying to prove marketing performance, modernise enterprise reporting, or build a stronger data strategy, we’ll help you create analytics that deliver measurable business value.

We research the constraints before we design around them

Koios20 0926

Research first

Structured research into your assets, your competitors, your existing processes and the current legal and regulatory gaps around tokenisation, so what gets built is grounded in real market and compliance constraints rather than assumptions.

Build and connect to the chain

Building and deploying the platform, with secure blockchain connectivity for transaction validation.

Integrate the distribution side

Connecting the platform to financial advisers and technology providers, so the assets can reach the people who are meant to hold them.

Bring the components together

A final phase pulls the parts into one platform. Throughout, we keep iterative feedback loops running with your stakeholders, because both the regulation and the technology move during a build of this length.

A full team is embedded with your stakeholders and technology partners from day one: developers, a business analyst and a project manager. Which of the phases below apply depends on where you sit in the tokenisation and settlement process.

Questions we are asked

One substantial build. We created a platform for a fintech start-up that lets wealth managers trade tokens of mutual investment funds across multiple blockchain networks, delivered in live integration with a global asset manager, a UK wealth management platform and a UK provider of KYC technology. It was a pilot rather than a production rollout, and we would rather tell you that upfront than have you find out later.

The platform we built was designed to work across multiple networks rather than committing to one. Tell us which network you are considering and we will tell you honestly whether we have worked with it, and what we would want to test before committing to it.

Account and wallet administration, order placement and trading, position and holdings management, platform integration on the distribution side, and KYC token interoperability with third parties. Which of those matter depends on whether you are issuing, distributing or servicing.

That depends on your ecosystem, your investors and the regulatory position you are working within, which is why it is a question the feasibility assessment answers rather than one we would answer in a first conversation. Wallet administration is part of the operational services we build.

Start with what you are trying to connect

Whether you are weighing up tokenisation, already hold tokenised assets that are not reaching anyone, or need to connect into somebody else’s ecosystem, the first conversation is the same. What you hold, who needs to reach it, and what the regulatory position looks like where you are.
